Surf. Skate. Snow. Dirt.
Dust was built out of a dusted garage. No factory, no assembly line, no outsourcing — just a workbench, a stack of blank gear and a vision for something different. Every design starts on that bench, and every piece is still made there by hand, one at a time.
Where we come from
Our roots are in Newport Beach, where so many of the big surf brands got their start. We grew up embedded in that culture — every day down at the beach and out on the water, surfing, skating and riding dirt bikes.
Then came Utah, and the ocean got traded for the mountains. Winters meant snowboarding with sponsors behind us, and whenever we weren't shredding, we were on a dirt bike. Different terrain, same feeling.
Why Dust
Surf, skate, snow and street wear all have their own look. Racing gear never really did. Whether it's cars or bikes, it's the same loud graphics and the same cuts, made to be worn at the track and nowhere else. We wanted racing gear that carries the style of everything we grew up on — gear you can wear to the track and still wear out after.
Tested on our own track
We have a private dirt bike and pit bike track in Provo, Utah, and that's where our gear gets put to the test. Every piece gets worn, sweated in and covered in dust before it ever makes it to you.
Made by hand, one of one
Every piece is designed and made in-house, in that same garage. Placements and details change from piece to piece, which gives each one its own unique character — just like every one of us is unique in our own way. When you buy from Dust, you're getting something nobody else has. Built for speed, on and off the track.
The North Star
The North Star on our gear stands for guidance and direction — something that holds steady through times of change. And change is exactly what Dust is bringing to the clothing industry.
Built in dust. Made to last.
